Engagement Session in Cherokee NC

This Oconaluftee Islands Park Engagement Session in Cherokee NC was SO much fun.

Alena found me on Facebook and when I spoke to her on the phone, I just knew they were going to make amazing photos.

Alena + Westley met at work a couple of years ago. They have since moved on to bigger better things: She’s a teacher and he works in Loss Prevention for a retail store.

He proposed this past July in the Dominican Republic while visiting some family. They stayed at a beautiful resort in the countryside. Westley asked Alena to go for a walk with him on the beach, he told her how much he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

She very obviously said yes!

He was super sweet to her during the session and they totally melted my heart as a couple.

Their wedding is next November and I wish them all the happiness in the world – though they may have already found it!
